Q. How does this all work?
A. When you “Join” LazyDog.com, you get to create a “Club” and one “Profile” that goes with it. Every “Club” is allowed up to four “Profiles” which make up your “Boardroom” (probably You, your dog, your cat, maybe your Goldfish. Other family members may use the same “Club”, but that would be like sharing a MySpace® account. Parents may wish to share an account with younger family members to monitor use). Other LazyDog.com users can then become members of your “Club” only by request and approval, as you can become a member of other "Clubs" too. Blogs are kept by your individual “profiles” within your “Club”, so you can keep a blog, your dog can keep a blog etc…

Q. How do I tidy up my club and profile descriptions or my blogs with line breaks and paragraphs?
A. It is necessary to use a little html code when you enter your information if you don’t want the lines to just run together. An opening carrot “<” followed by a “br” and then a closing carrot “>” will make a line break. Put in a “p” instead to make a new paragraph.
Type in “simple html code” or “html tutorial” in the Google search bar at the top of the page for more help and tips.

Q. How do I join another club?
A. Under the club's name on the club home page of all clubs ia a "Join This Club" link. You must click this link and wait until that club aproves your membership request. If you have already attempted to join, it will say "Membership Pending" until the club aproves your membership request.

Q. How do I leave a comment on a club page, profile page or someone's blog.
A. You must be a member of a club to leave any comments. Under the club's name on the club home page of all clubs ia a "Join This Club" link. If you have already attempted to join, it will say "Membership Pending" until the club aproves your membership request.

Q. Why can't I leave a comment in a club that I am a member of?
A. Check which profile you are using in your "drop down list" at the top right corner of the page. You join clubs as a specific profile from your club's boardroom. Joining a club as one profile does not make your other boardroom profiles a member of that club too. You may join the same club with all your boardroom profiles if you like.

Q. How do I edit or delete one of my own blogs?
A. Go to your profile page and click the "View all Blogs" link under your list of blogs. You must be using that profile to see the edit and delete function links on the view all page. Use the drop down profile switcher at the upper right corner of the page to switch profiles if you need to.
